Ski Val D’Isère

Introduction

Easyskills icon

Val d’Isère has it all: deep reliable snow, the most up-to-date lift system, the most extensive pistes, off piste activities galore, all sited around a resort that retains a traditional French mountain village atmosphere. The resort has a World-famous World Cup run (black), which is a challenge to get down even at moderate speeds. Besides this, the resort and has about 300km of prepared pistes, at all levels, and 99 lifts. You could ski there for a week and be left wanting more.

A lift pass gives access to the pistes of the neighbouring resort of Tignes. Snow reliability is excellent, because the resort is in a dramatic location at the head of a valley at 1850m; the ski season lasts from December right into May. The mountain restaurants have a great reputation, so there is no need to descend to the valley to break for lunch. To cater for those with a taste for other snow-related activities, there are two snow parks, a mogul field, and six slalom courses. There are two glaciers for off-piste enthusiasts, and a gliss park for beginning skiers and snowboarders. Val D’Isère offers a really happening après-ski scene, with plenty of restaurants and bars to let your hair down at the end of the day.

How about a weekend to weekend trip, with eight days skiing in one of the top resorts in the world, and you don't have to bother with an airport or security? It's possible with Maximum Adventure.
